Ok I know I dont post on here often at all, but I have some questions. My dad just picked up a 89 CRX DX. It comes with the stock motor and a jdm d15b still in the crate. Is that motor obd1? If so what ecu will work with it a p28? I have heard it has a 3 stage vtec, is that true and if so how does it work. I have done the whole searching thing and didnt really come up with a whole lot of help. So if you know anything about this motor it would be appriciated. Thanks

 

Do these look familiar? if not, you don't have 3 stage vtec.
