Strange Idle after hondata s200/street tuned...
The engine is a completely stock b18c-r. The only mods are a hytech header, catback, and j's intake.
So to manage the air/fuel, I decided to go s200 to just get the installation out the way for later uses.
I'm running a p28 chipped for hondata and a s200.
Had the motor street tuned with wideband for now.
Dyno before (dynopac):

Dyno after (dynojet):
(I was told this was good because the dynos are different so it's really better than the before dyno which has a higher hp gain)

Anyway, everything feels great. Definately feels smoother. The problem is when I come to a complete stop the idle surges between 1200 and 1500 rpm's. Then after doing this for a few seconds, it drops to about 1100 or 1200rpm's and holds a steady idle there.
Is there something wrong? I still have my jdm itr ecu and it idles perfectly fine with it installed (around 800rpm's) so it's something with the hondata I'm guessing.
Anybody know?

Adjusting it inside the hondata program?
Hopefully that wasn't a dumb question
And if it's not in the hondata program, why would it run perfectly with the oem ecu?

Cool, I'll ask the tuner. Thanks a lot for the help.

I suffer from the same problem, I wonder why my tuner didn't adjust it when the car was dyno tuned.

Not sure, maybe it just didn't stand out. I don't think my car did it while it was getting tuned, then suddenly the day after I noticed it
It's like suddenly feeling sick after you just got back from the doctors.

Mine doesn't do it every time... seems like only after I beat on it. Perhaps it's the engine getting back at me. It's saying... "F your momma... here's a bad idle for you". I've also noticed that when using the a/c the idle wants to drop a bit and the varied idle sitution increases. BTW... S200B I'm using with a JRSC.
