Default am i alright to run my ls pistons in my LS/vtec

aight so today someone told me that i should use my stock b16 pistons in my LSv build because of valve clearence issues? is there an advantage of this, and will i run into problems if i just run the regular LS pistons?

yes, vtec pistons have the necessary reliefs in the pistons to clear larger cams.
