What are you thoughts on this topic? I have a 99 Accord EX-V6 AT. I would like a little more umph if I can get it cheaply.

I dont think .5whp is worth 20+ dollars. Just use a cheap one.
All filters are pretty much the same and the differences are minimal. Unless you have tons of other supporting mods that your current filter is actually holding you back, theres no reason for it.

K&N filters are not worth it. They let more crap into your engine.

thats another thing i forgot to mention.

The K&N filters only flow better because they dont really catch anything, atleast not as much as the other "cheap" filters

I have a K&N air filter and find it better than most of the other ones and I have improved 5MPG more . It does not let more crap in according to the paper work but improves on air flow into moter and oil on filter will catch the dust and not clog like the regular paper filters.hope this helps

Nothing wrong with an intake itself, it's the crappy filter they attach to the end of it.........

you can put on any filter. K&N has the best flow capabilities but has the worst filtration capabilities.

juts go with some cheap ebay filter, even foam is ok.
