Default buying/making perf. tubing for mufflers

hey all... i'm thinking of making a muffer and resinator from scratch and i really dont want to drill a ton of holes in a peice of 2.5in stainless so i was wondering if anyone knew where i could buy a predrilled peice or if not if anyone has any tips on how to make my own. i think i may need to finally break down and buy a damn drill press if i cant buy some premade tubes. any help would be awsome

A. You bet! Not only do our products improve the value of our clients companies, but we donate money and the time of our employees to help with local charities.

I just bought 100 linear feet of 5" with 1/8" holes! What have you done for the community lately?

We did that in SAE. We used 321SS perforated sheets from McMaster (IIRC). Then we used normal hose clamps to wrap them around another pipe to get the shape right.

Makes much more sense, since the burns lightwieght 4" they used in the recent post (4" full alum) was $250. $50 in parts and some trick welding could get you a bunch of them.
