Default ap2 Oil amount?

I used to put roughly 5 - 5.5 qts. of oil in my ap1, is it also the same for the ap2?

I just did an oil change and I have 5 qts. in there now. I just let it run for about 10 minutes, now im going to let her cool and then check the level.

Or if you don't want to be seen in a Pepboys, Autozone has them, too, I believe.

Get a pump spray nozzle, attach a CLEAN hose to it. Put the end of it in your tranny and spray to pump out. Pump some clean fluid through your sprayer to flush it, then put the end into a bottle of tranny fluid and pump it back into your tranny/diff.

The pump that Pep Boys sells works but is uber messy!
Shown here:

I would recommend the type that sits upright.
