dont know how fast im going.
k well my check engine light is throwing code 17 which is my speed meter. would that be my speedmeter gear housing is worn in my tranny. or wat cause i need to fix the check light before i get it smoged.
Make sure the cable is pushed in your tranny all the way and that the little clip is attached.Check out the tranny removal faq for pics of this.
The gear does not wear unless there is something really, really wrong in your tranny. Then you would have other worries.

wat clip are you taking about. i took it out then put it back in but it didnt snap i dont think. its a dx tranny so its a 4spd. i was planning to get a new 5spd tranny to see it will fix it. but first im going to check all of the above.
