i have a b18c recently installed in my hatch and after sorting a few things out its starting to run well now, but its seems to be burning oil for some reason... i put fresh oil in and withing a day or 2 its like black already and for some reason goes down very quickly... seriously, probably a aquart every 700km or so... but there is no blue smoke or anything coming out... it seems to burn pretty clean. also, i am only getting like 300km or so on a 37 litre tank in gas on 94 or even 91... any ideas why its so low? even driving it carefully.

 

VTEC b-series engines do burn a little oil when VTEC engages but it sounds like you have other problems in that motor.You should probaly do a compression/leakdown test to see if any cylinders are acting up.Could be piston rings or a handfull or other things.Your probaly gonna have to open her up and take a look.
