ok i got this eg bone stock with the d15 motor, at idle it would be good for like 30 seconds then the idle will just drop like its about to shut off and and then like 1 minute later goes back up and repeat it i think i also heard a lil popping through the exhaust. It also does it when im driving and put it in neutral and come to a complete stop, where do i start?

 

you can start by checking your timing.

 

i am having a similar problem, except whenever i take it out of gear or put the clutch in, i just dies. it sucks. i have replaced the whole Intake manifold, no cels, and i had my timing done with a timing light and it still does it

 

my cel is not on either. checked the timing and its good, what else?

 

sounds like your running lean. i think it may be your distributor
