timing skipped??
alright guys, so my car starts choking then it shuts off and some smoke blew out of my intake filter. took a while to start up but when it did it couldnt keep idle. it felt like it was detonating up until about 3k rpm then it was fine. but whenever i drive below that it would keep surging. there was no CEL until i jumped it and it through out a MAP. so i replaced that and reset the ECU. no more CEL but car still ran the same. what symptoms does this sound like?
btw: its a h22a1 motor.

sparks are all good, i even bought new spark plugs but same problem.
hopefully ill have time tomorrow to check the timing. but any other ideas?
