would only having 2 bolt holding on my dizzy cause a slight misfire at idle?
well i just tried it and it must have done something because it idles way better and the miss is almost gone. it must not have be aligned in there perfectly w/ 2 bolts
What kind of spark plugs are you using? And my dizzy was being held on by 1 bolt before and it was fine. I'm not an idiot, I didn't know until I went to change the o-ring because i was leaking oil and found out at that point. I don't knowingly run around with 1/3 of the bolts I need.

Yeah without that third bolt, the dizzy may have moved around

if it moved round though there is no way it would course it to misfire. it has a little movement when the three bolts are losened to allow for fine tuning the timing. If the cars misfing you want the dizzy, leads and plugs. If you still have no luck check the timing.
