Default No VTEC engagement

Before the typical people come in here and flame this with there posts that have nothing related with my problem and refer me to the "search" function, save your time I've tried it already. Ok now on to the problem, I have a ls/vtec swap that uses to be in my coupe. The coupe was t-boned and totalled, now I have a cx hatch that has been pinned for vtec and everything. It used to have a z6 swap in it and ran vtec fine, now that my ls is back in the car I cant seem to get vtec at all!!! Not early not late not at all!!!, I've bleed the solenoid multiple times, relocated the oil pressure switch and bleed it, tested the vtec solenoid, and tested the dizzy just for ****'s and giggle's and still I have no vtec. The ECU is chipped but was run on a z6 and engaged vtec on that car..... Any suggestions???? Anything positive would be appreciated, I dont have to time to waste reading stupid responses that are not even related to this, thanks guys.

Oil level is perfect, I've checked it multiple times. The origional set up for the oil switch was a T mounted on the back of the block, that had cracked and I put that back together with another T and new teflon tape on every fitting, blew out the screen's to make sure nothing was clogged and still have nothing.

what kind of chipped ecu, if you are running a p28 p30 or any other kind of vtec ecu you can cut the J1 jumper to make it read the internal rom (or original maps) if that fixes it blame the chip or the ecu. sounds like you have checked most everything else correctly. other than that i would definately wire up a light to it just so you know for sure, and if it does engage dont feel stupid, chipped ecu's are often so smooth that you cant feel the crossover.

I'll deffinetly try hooking up the light, but when vtec engaged in my coupe it was like all hell was breaking loose, the secondary cam just pulled so hard where now after like 65-6800rpm's the motor is just laboring and filling with fuel because vtec is not hitting. I'm not sure wtf to do but at 3.35 dollars a gallon for gas I need to figure this out quick!!

if the maps are still set up for the z6 then thats the problem, vtec on a z6 lower than your ls/vtec. the maps are a little differant too probably causing it to fall flat after vtec. i would get a chip for your setup and see how it works.

the ecu is a custom burn from the company I got the ls/vtec from. I believe its a b16 ecu. The only code it throws is when I'm in 4th at around 105mph at 7k when vtec should be engaged.

Sorry I didn't mean to not get technical and type all of this about the oil pressure switch signal, which basically means "no vtec"

how can you be sure, w/ the time you spent typing that reply you could have pulled the codes and possibly fixed your problem, quite trying to make everyone do the work for you and pull the codes.

I'm going to swap chip's tomorrow, the ecu was more than likely damaged in my accident but not enough to completley destroy it. I'll keep everybody posted.

Anything yet? Have you pulled the codes yet? 21 or 22?

Is your temp sensor still hooked up and working as advertised?

Last, I still didn't really understand this portion but are you still running the Z6 map?

Last but not least, if you are getting a CEL at 7k, is it in every gear or just 4th as many people burn the chip to turn on the CEL as a shift light.

I wasn't able to pull the code because I worked on the shift linkage and took it for a test drive with my buddy/mechanic driving and my transmission blew!! Funny huh, just my ****** luck!
