Default axle seal leakng after axle swap

well i recently replace my driver side axle. Went to drive it for awhile came back and parked . well i came back out then there was a puddle of tranny fluid. so we took it back out again to inspect and the seal was pushed in deep so we took it out and sat it flushed against the tranny like the manual says put everything back and it seems like it fixed it. well woke up this mournin and theres another puddle again . pulled it out again and bought a new seal but this one didnt have that lil circle spring ring with it ..is the that part needed wit ha aftermarket seal or is it that sombody didnt package it at the auto store?

plus would there be anything else that would make it leak. never had this problem before

setup is :
d15b vtec
dx tranny 5spd

Get another seal and when u put it in this time, make sure it sits flush with the housing. ( push the seal in just far enough that the seal goes in, not deep in there. Pm me if u don't understand

well a not so good update i bought a new seal again , put it in flush like the manual says and is still leaking

could i just have a bad cv axle becuase i didnt have this problem before i changed it. the deal is i have had different trannies in the car but the old cv axle never had a problem except being busted
