2006 Civic EX Sedan Purchance
Hi, I just found this website today and will be a proud owner of a 2006 Civic EX sedan early this week. I am buying the car through the Costco program. I am happy with the price being 19,424 out the door (after taxes title, tags, fees). However he told me that the invoice for the dealer is 17424 BEFORE the destination charge. I bought the consumerreports.com new car buyer information (anyone is welcome to see this is they want) and this lists the invoice at 17242 INCLUDING destination charges. Am I being taken advantage of for 500 bux? Is the invoice price supposed to include the destination charge? Am I being over charged? Or is what the dealer telling me correct, that the invoice to them is 17424, not including destination charge? If anyone could help me out a bit I would appreciate it alot.
I did do a search for this subject, sorry if its a repeat question. I hope to stick around this forum, looks like a bunch of cool people, and nice rides!

destination charge? you make them throw it out. i would never pay for it. If they say its on top of invoice, just say thats not what *insert name* dealership said

Everyplace has a different destination charge... I am from NY so ours should be similar... 540 dollars. Try to talk them out of it, you should be able to get the car for around 500 above invoice... you just have to play your cards right.
Awesome news. Closed the deal for 19300 out the door (was originally told 20k out the door by the dealer). I got the coupe instead of the 4 door. Thats 500 above invoice. Thanks for the help.
