Is anyone planning on going this sunday, 4/14? I'll be there for sure, just got my speed freakz membership and SCCA so called license. lol Anyway, use the poll. I want to know how many people are actually into this sport here in the bay area besides drag racing.

I ran yesterday at 3COM/Candlestick, it sucks that you only get 3 runs but otherwise it's alot of fun. Although I noticed that FS, DSP, ESP got alomost 6 runs, anyone know why? Anyways, i just thought about my vote and I may actually not get to run next time, my car is supposed to go to the shop for some work, i was told 3 weeks, so if the next one is on the 14th I won't make it.

Are you sure it is on the 14th?

the announcer said yesteday next round would be at Oakland coliseum....

 

Damn. That's too bad Jaime how your car will be in the shop. I'm really looking forward this sunday and I'll just gonna go out and have fun. Don't care about times yet.

Do you mean SCCA membership or license? If license, which license did you obtain?

Entitles the holder to all the rights and privileges or a regular member except the ability to hold a Solo I, PRO Rally or Club Racing competition license. This membership is primarily for someone in the 16-25 age group who is interested in working at race or competing in a Solo II event. This membership includes an automatic solo/rally/crew license for additional catastrophic insurance coverage.

It's not a competition license if that's what your asking.

hmmm!! That's it! I would think most Type R owners especially here in the Bay Area do the SOLO runs or road course lapping.

 

there are more but they are jsut not answering or are not HT members, I talked to 3 last sunday. I know there is a guy that is usually in Competition.

1) 58.668
2) 55.837
3) 56.402 (on the 4th turn the car decided to go straight and has to almost come to a full stop to finish the turn, maybe I took it too fast)

All in all it was good, there was only 1 other R there I didn't talk to the driver. Maybe he's an HT member.
