I was wondering if anyone was from the lexington kentucky area and could tell me about traks and local speed shops? I'm going to college there in the fall.

There are several shops in town, I'm head tech at one of them. I don't know the rules about shop talk, so you'd have to email me to figure out which one.

The closest 1/4 mile track is Mountain Parkway Motorplex (www.mpdragway.com), but conditions are usually sub-par. I personally like the 1/8th mile track in Louisville or the 1/4 in Bowling Green.

I'm *still* a student at UK, so you may see my car around campus on occasion!

Hi, I'm from Louisville alittle over an hour west. Theres plenty of people who know their stuff around the area. People like or dislike the shops for what ever reasons, but once you talk to them and see whats going on you'll be able to figure out who you'd trust with your car. Maybe I'll see you at the tracks in the fall.

I can't wait to go to uk. I'll finally meet some people who like to build and race hondas. I'll have to check out the shop that you work in Grant. I plan on putting a turbo in this summer and maybe you'll be able to help me.

kentucky accord

i live in louisville(around 80miles from lexington) and frequent as many tracks in KY as possible. i run @ Ohio Valley Dragway(1/8 mile), Mountain Parkway(1/4), and Beech Bend(1/4). of the 3, my favorite is Beech Bend.
