On pump gas?

Also, you should go with stock cams if you are going to use a JRSC.

Something to do with overlap, IIRC.

It can be done, I ran it for a while but it's a bitch to tune. The blower make instant boost at lower rpms, which means "Ping City"
Anyou will have to go with milder cams.

You would need to reduce intake temps somehow, ie: LHT intercooler for the JRSC.

What do you mean "ping city"? would a stock CTR intake cam and a stock ITR exhaust cam work well whith that set up?

I thought running higher compression with a JRSC helps with IAT temps because the blower doesn't have to spin as fast?

12.5:1 on a JRSC is pushing it. Some have been successful running 11.5:1... but 12.5:1 is pushing it on pump gas, even for NA.

Shouldn't the blower spin just as fast regardless of compression?

I've heard that GSR cam (either Intake or exhaust or both, can't remember the combination) would be better than stock ITR cams. Too much overlap with stock cams.

I would not recommend the Jun 3 cams. They are meant for n/a applications and you will lose hp over the stock cams with a JRSC application.

Minor blower work, such as porting the s-tube, also help significantly.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Fayzeless &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">how much is the LHT intercooler?</TD></TR></TABLE>

The intake manifold is $995 + core, and the heat exchanger is $350.

You are incorrect. High compression will not help IAT's; It will, however, increase cylinder temperatures at the end of the compression stroke. What you are thinking of is people with high compression motors running lower boost levels because they are concerned about IAT's, detonation, etc. That being said, it is fine to run high compression with the JRSC-- it just leaves little margin for error in the tune, so make sure you get a known reputable tuner such as Jeff Evans or Jack at P1.

You are correct.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 88 rex &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I've heard that GSR cam (either Intake or exhaust or both, can't remember the combination) would be better than stock ITR cams. This is also true. The best combination is a GSR intake cam with an ITR exhaust cam, along with a set of adjustable cam gears to be adjusted by your tuner.

Cheers and happy boosting.

with high compression how much boost do you think I can run with that setup? how much power do you think i could get out of it?
