Which ECU?

I have a 97 honda civic ex with a stock ecu. I was wondering which is the best ECU for my car for performance?Also when I get a new ECU, do I get it chipped?

If the car is all stock, there is absolutely NO BENEFIT to another ECU, unless you feel like paying more for gas

all I have so far is a cold air intake, hi flow cat, performance muffler

you're running simple bolt ons, no real benifit to getting a new ECU.
a cam or head work then you can look into a P28 with OBD2-->OBD1 conversion harness.
