I have an 01 type R and my SRS light is on and my horn doesn't work. From what I read so far, I need to replace my cable reel. I also found instructions on how to reset the SRS light. Although I haven't tried to reset it, when I do, how do I determine the problem code? I haven't been able to find out what blink combinations mean what code and their meaning. I just want to make sure it's the cable reel before I go out and buy one.

And is it possible to rebuild the cable reel?
