Which of the 3 is the best quality for a 98 civic? Price isnt an issue, i just wanna know which is the best. Although ive heard that performance LCAs arent needed for daily drivers and that the stock ones will do just fine? Is this true? Someone help me out please!
the skunk and omni are simply for bling. sure they may save a pound each, but other than that...
the function 7 have multiple endlink attachment points (assuming youre running a rear sway bar), depending on which you use it can alter the effective stiffness of the bar something in the order of +/- 10% (dont quote me on those numbers, PM DavidR or Function7 as they are more likely to know the exact number).
on top of that, their Z design is supposedly more aerodynamic but ive never seen any numbers to substantiate that. they are pricier, but also nigh unto indestructable near as i can tell

function7 >>> skunk2/omni
i have the function7's and they are stronger, better designed, more blingy
, and the bushings are custom made ES polyurethane ones. crappy vulcanized rubber in the others can crack and fall out.

We take ours down by about 2.2 lbs/side. Stiffness adjustment on the EK's are +/- approximately 8.9%.
Aerodynamics? Haha not my much, but we did run CFD analysis just for fun. The turbulence caused by the bottom bodywork/etc make the "gains" insignificant. (...although I oughtta slap DR around for suggesting it

P.S. Thought you may like this in your sig.

No, but I sent you a PM.
Basically, all the bushings crapped out on the Omni's. I drive my car on the road like I drive it at the autocross. For normal driving, vulcanized bushings seem to be the way to go, BUT if you are an agressive driver like me YOU NEED URETHANE BUSHINGS. They give more stability in turns and they are more resistant to abuse. Not to mention, they are also easy and cheap to replace directly from Energy Suspension. I bought mine used from a fellow h-ter and apparently they are the ones without the multiple sway bar locations, so I can't comment on that aspect of the arms. They definately look better than any LCA I've ever had.
To Function7 for putting in that extra R&D.
They are definately worth the price.

Thanks!
FYI, our bushings are covered under the warranty for our arms. So if you somehow manage to damage them, we will replace the bushings.

As long as you have a valid serial number on our arms, we will warranty it.

Speaking of bushings, does the polyurethane squeak if you don't lube it? I had an Ingalls polyurethane camber kit, and it make all kinds of crazy noise.

We have a lifetime warranty on our arms. As long as you can provide us a valid serial number (the serial number is on a barcode sticker on top of the arm) we will warranty it. The warranty covers both the arms and our bushings.

I just put all my suspension stuff on this past weekend. This for a 97 civic Koni's,H&R sports, and Function7 lcas,
and it looks great. I'm still trying to get the koni's where I want them.
