1999 LX Coupe stalling at idle
had some electrical craziness happen, now my 99 LX Coupe won't idle.
first, goin at about 35mph, the engine cut off and came back on real hard. about 10 seconds later all the dash lights in the gauge pod started flickering really fast. even the turn signals were clicking faster than i've ever seen! then everything quit.
after that it'll turn over, but won't idle. had to ride the gas to hump it home.
anybody heard of this before?
my CEL had been on for about a day, if that helps.

Rob,Did they disconnect your battery at any time with your cel? Did your battery go dead at any time recently? These cars will lose their PCM idle value if battery power fails. if this is the case there are 2 ways to approach it.Let me know.
thanks for the hit back, blueshark!
the battery is about four months old..
it's been connected until i reset my ECU yesterday, attempting to fix this idle problem. that didn't work.

usually if you want the ECU to forget and relearn idle, you disconnect the battery for a about 5 mins an reconned start car and let it idle for 5 mins....
