Default clutch creaking noise, help plz :(

Yeah, the title pretty much says it all, my clutch creaks when I put it in, I assume the linkage needs to be greased or lubricated, it sounds like it's coming more from under the car from what I've heard, I haven't really had anybody do it while I listened as it just started while I was out tonight -- It only happens sometimes, appeared out of nowhere, went away out of nowhere..then came back again out of nowhere

just when I put the clutch in it creaks when goign in, creaks when going out, never heard it before, but I'm just hoping it's not a busted seal :-\

it's normal, mine used to do that. it just means that the ends of the release fork, release bearing, and the main shaft need some grease.

Yeah, that's what I thought, I"ll have to do it, it's bothersome :-X - I've never drove a standard car that made a noise like that when I put in the clutch, I was like "werd" -- I'll greese it tomorrow or the next day, when I lift it to weld the exhaust

EDIT:
Well put it on a lift...and I'm not going to weld the exhaust...because I'm not good at welding...I'll have my friend do it :-P

it's really not worth pulling the trans off for that. try putting some grease on where the slave cyl hits the fork and see if that helps, but it's probably the springy thing on the fork.

well sorry, yeah, that's waht I meant, all the moving parts outside the tranny :-O

As long as it doesn't cause the fork to break or anything I can definately live w/ the noise...
