can i use the 93 teg pedals in my 93 civic and use cable trans? anyone done this? or will a 97 accord trans work.

because I have a 93 teg whole parts car I'm tryign to use. didint realize it was cable trans until after I started gettign the motor out. my girlfriend comes back in a week adn I woudl like to ahve her car going for her.
