car wont start *part 2*
Well im back again,
If you guys remember a while back I had a thread about trying to start a turbo civic with some rx7 injectors.
Well... I picked up a set of dsm 390cc injectors and set the uberdata map for it. Wired em up correctly and everything, but the car STILL WONT START. Theres no CEL and the battery is charged. Im not sure what it could be, but the car has sat for 5 months, so any suggestions? Maybe the alternator is bad? What would be some signs?

what do you mean?
what do you mean?
i have a 95 civic and i had a problem starting it. i had to replace my distributor.the car would turn but there was no spark. pull a spark plug wire out of the cover and a plug in it. in a dark room have someone just tap the ignition from inside the cara few times and u watch to see if theres any spark in the lines.if not i would replace the distrubutor.

we have spark and air, we think its fuel, but theres no CEL. I think it has something to with a ground somewhere, thats what I was trying to figure out what kr was referring to in his post
are you sure you're getting fuel?
take a squirt bottle, fill it with gas, open the throttle plate and spray it in there while a friend cranks it.
check for fuel, check for spark, check compression. once you have those 3 it will start.

yeah..on an updated note, its throwing cel 16, aka fuel system. Its gotta be something with the wiring, cause I know the injectors are physically in there correct...

what happens when you turn the key? im judging from the fact that you know you have spark that it cranks? check allllllll your grounds, my cousin left ONE off when we did his swap, and it wouldnt crank or anything, whatsoever. (it was from tranny to chassis by the way.
this has nothing to do with the fuel system, but do a valve adjustment. if those are off enough it won't run. 0.007 intake and 0.009 ex. are magic numbers for vtec cams.
but first you really need to see if fuel is getting in there.
