I need a little weld job to finish my hk g3 clone build. If any of you can help me out let me know. I would have to be there when it is done and it should take no more than 15 minutes. Here's a pic of the receiver
here's a pic of the welds
If worst comes to worse my trusty weld pak 100 and grinder wil have to do

I finally got the rest of my parts in. This is what I need welded.
The cocking tube has a 2 inch extention that slides into the receiver. I still need to demill my kit and put the cocking tube on the lathe to remove the excess material so that it fits the receiver. There needs to be a butt weld where the cocking tube meets the receiver. It's only about 4 inches of bead that needs to be layed in total. It 16gauge mild steel. How much are you charging? thanx

Here's the info on the california assault weapons FAQ.
http://www.calguns.net/a_california_arak.htm
http://www.calguns.net/calgunf...25788
http://www.calguns.net/calgunf...?f=81
The current situation with the 2000 assault weapons ban is that if it wasn't listed in 2000 its ok to buy but you must assemble it to comply with sb23. So the gist of it is that it must have a pinned mag if you want all the "EVIL" parts, but if you want a detachable mag then you must loose the pistol grip and flash hider. Right now we are hoping the DOJ list these receivers so a 90day registration period opens so we can have our black rifles in an uneutered state. So if you are californian and want an offlist AR/AK rifle you better hurry.

not a tac but i'm not made of $$ either...USP 9mm...BTW in FL, you wait to buy a pistol (couple business days), or you walk home sameday with an AR15 and 2 30rd mags after a "background check"...all done within an hour depending on the line...
