Default Do you gain some HP by adding water injection to JRSC?

I got some input from the JRSC thread, but would like to hear more from all of you JRSC with water injection who are not reading the thread.

Are you actually gaining anything by advancing your timing? how much additional timing do you get (since you have better detonation protection) compared to without the water?

In summary, is it worth it?

i dont know from expierience but i would think you would gain power because you would be cooiling down the intake temp. The main thing wrong with the JRSC is it blows hot air in your engine

You're not going to gain any power straight up because you are displacing some fuel and air (read: energy) with water. If you spray something combustible, such as methanol, you will gain power without making any changes to the motor. The water injection does, however, let you run more timing at the same boost and octane level to make more power.

Methanol injection gets my vote.
