Metal coolant pipe - recommended material?
I need to fab up a metal inline pipe with a coolant sensor bung for a Toyota application. What is a suitable material for the pipe itself? OEM pipes on the car are thin walled steel I believe.

Aluminum, Your motor has enough of it in it. I don't see any prob's with Aluminummmmm
Steel will work too. Antifreeze has non corrosive additives in it.
Copper, is the only one I would stay away from.
