the cam has slightly more lift than a y8
y8 = 38.274
3-stage = 38.33

i also have a cometic gasket but i dont know the stats on it...
i assume its the same...dont know

as long as they are 4 valve pistons it should be fine, dont know many people w/ a cam in a mini me, but i would think it would be ok. you are gonna have some pretty high compression, just the mini me is going to add some then w/ the head milled, so dont forget about that. i would definately clay it first. also, not a bad idea to use some new valve springs if you arent, valve float would kill the motor and it sounds like you are gonna be cutting it close on the "quench" to begin w/.

 

a cam makes the engine run...

what are your qualifications for your assesment...?
