H22 TURBO GOLDEN EAGLE INTAKE MANIFOLD WORTH IT????????
I have a built 97 prelude base model with a f-max turbo kit with all the supporting mods. I was just wondering if the golden eagle intake manifold is worth the money... im not looking to make outrageous power but wanting something that was gonna add a little more to the car... im making about 250-260whp right now (conservative tune) trying to make high 280-300whp, do you think that this IM will help out or is worth the money and time to put it in???? thanks
it got tuned on the mf2 in a shop in SA,TX ....... i might go neptune with stoopid but im not sure... im so tired of obd2 CEL... its annoying. how was your experience getting tuned by stoopid??? hondata, neptune,????? worth it??
my experience with neptune was great. i was more then happy with the results and i love the built-in 2 step. you should make a trip to houston and you'll be satisfied with the tune and im sure jason could meet your 300hp goal. just let me know and i will let jason know.

aside from anything else....i'd go with that manifold on an h22 just to make the car easier to work on. that big factory contraption is annoying! i had a GE manifold when i had an h22 in my hatchback.
I think the tune will help the car out a little more. I dont have as much control with the mf2. It only controls fuel and no timing..... its either one or the other.... so I think ill make the trip next month to get the car where i want it at. thanks for your input and advice.... soon to be st00pified!!!!!!!

Who's got $1200 for that manifold, when the GE manifold is less than half that price retail?

why would you go to a real mexican restaurant when taco bell is less than half the price?

if i were to drop 1200 on a intake manifold (or anything near that) i would spend it on full-race, not carbon crap
*unless dynos #s prove otherwise

Anyway, the carbon fiber manifold wouldn't taste any better.
I use a GE on an H22 in a hatch. Very streetable, good broad range power, looks great and in my application was needed for firewall clearance. Heard that best power production requires cam timing adjustment. -looking into it.
GT30, Hondata S300, stock cams. -Over 300 hp @ 10 psi.-

Let's see, we dyno'd an LS1 with heads/cam that did 410rwhp on our dyno (stock phenolic intake). Slapped on a BBK cast aluminum intake manifold, retuned to same a/f and lost 20rwhp across the board. Gotta love heat retention.
