how to take out heater core???? help!!
my heater core busted a while ago and now when i drive i get coolant all over the floor so yea, im just gonna take it out....my car is already gutted anyways, so i go to take it out, i got out the blower and evaporater stuff and then tried to take out all the stuff around the heater core but cant!!! i took out a few bolts and it didnt just come right out like the other stuff did.....so yea, someone help me! do i have to take out the dash?
remove dash, remove two bolts on the inside, disconnect the coolant hoses. there's one hidden bolt in the bay on the firewall that you need to remove. iirc it's to the right of where the fuel supply line penetrates the firewall.
hmmm...ok, one dude says i dont have to take out the dash and then you say i do???? ...yea, ok......i already took off the coolant lines that are on the firewall and i saw that little screw/bolt on the firewall....so yea, now im stuck agian....should i take off the dash? ive never taken off the dash, i dont know how to do that either, i mean im sure i could find out but if you guys could tell me id probably save lots of time....thanks.
