Default Slick size!!! help please...

Hi guys,
Recently I have put a B18C turbo into a civic ef.
The engine has about 360whp and with a jdm 98 spec tranny.
Now i use slicks m/h 24.5/8/15 and i have till second gear spinning at the drag strip, and did ET 11.1 with 1.91 60" .I have also the skunk 2 drag launch. I have a set of m/h 26/8.5/15 and was going to try them.Btw , i cross the line in fifth gear.
What do you think guys? should i try the bigger slicks?
The car +driver weights about 1050kg.
Thanks guys

if it's an ITR tranny, it would explain why you're going into 5th gear through the 1/4 mile mark.

correct me if i'm wrong...

with the type r tranny I would try the 26's that way you will not have to shift into 5th. I think 25's would be better but if you have the 26's I would use them.

If your head is built then you should raise the rev limiter on the car. I think most guys on here are around 9200k-9500K and that's being conservative. A 1.9 on that size slick and with that WHP level seems a little odd.

Good time though

What kind of air pressure are you running in your slicks?

you need to drop the pressure in those slick. 10 pis and the side walls probably aren't even wrinkling. Try 6-7 psi cold and see if that helps you out any. Also where is your redline set at?
