my friend has a 1990 accord... theres a loud metal to metal sound coming from the head... when i put a black of wood to liten to it its really loud and i know its comming from the head only... i did a compression test and it came out to 155-115-135-155.... i was thinking a bent valve in cyl#3 with 115 comp.... opinions?

 

could be. now do a leakdown test to pinpoint the problem.

yup it sure did.... its my bosses car and he took it to some guy to work on it...i guess he did a headgasket and 1 piston... then the guy who worked on it drove it to work one day and the T-Belt snappped!.... so then he pulled the head again and replaced another piston iono why.... and he also put on a new T-Belt... and now im stuck with this mess haha... all that info i just stated came from my boss so iono the really what happened.... sounds like someone threw some change in the oil cap! just to give a description of the sound
