coolant leaking!!! someone help!!!!!!!!
well i was installing my oil feed line into the back of the block and when i fed the line from the bottom of the car to the top all of the sudden i feel.....drip....drip on my head so im like wtf, ...it stopped for awhile then when i was moving the radiator around all of the sudden it starts dripping agine but alot faster...my radiator will be completly draind probably in about 10 min...so can someone tell me wtf happened?!?!? heres a pis of where it is leaking from...i have no idea what this is?!?!? some one please HELP!!!!!!!!!
That is the water pipe from the water pump to the t stat housing. There is a small o-ring that fits over the top of the pipe itself. You will have to remove the t stat housing in order to remove the water pipe and o ring seal. Use a small amount of lubricant on the seal when you insert the water pipe into its housing to prevent the new oring from getting torn etc. Pretty easy fix. hth
Yeah, you are going to need to replace that o-ring.
It's a cheap fix, but a total pain in the *** because you have to remove all the hoses to get the water tube out of there.

iwould put in new water pipe O rings (theres one on each side) and all new coolant hoses. Its also possible that the water pipe has corroded enough to not allow the o ring to seal properly, but you wont know that until u take it apart.

I would make sure that is where it is leaking
by pressure testing it as there are several places
it could leak from...
There is a pic of the pipe here:

Get a cheap radiator pressure tester taht clamps on to the radiator cap inlet. Then just pump until you force a leak (
I don't know why that was funny to me)
