Alright I have a 91 Hf with a 95 Z6. It ran before I started the conversion and now it won't start. I can tell the starter is working and the battery is good. It just won't finish turning over.
I am running a P28 w/ an ebay OBD1 harness and a Rywire Vtec subharness. The MSD dizzy is hardwired to a Super 100 ignition coil, as in there are no plugs, just wires going to the coil, so I am not sure what OBD dizzy I have. I have a 4-wire O2 sensor and a two connector Vtec solenoid(old one only had 1 connector) I used to run a PM6 w/ rpm activated switch.
I swapped starters and they do the same thing.
Any ideas, if you need more info, I will do what I can to answer.

How can I tell if I have spark or fuel?
Dumb question, but I have never done this much work on a car before.

not sure about fuel, but to check for spark, pull a plug wire off the plug, push the boot back to where there is some of the connector that connects to the spark plug showing, and see if it makes a spark when the engine is turning over and you hold it close to the engine block.
there are probably easier ways to do this though.
Maybe its a problem with your fuel injector resistors? i seem to remeber reading something about that durning my 16 hour online session researching crx mods yesterday :s

I will check spark tomorrow barring heavy rains.
I didn't touch the distributor at all, all the dizzy wiring was done before I got the car.
Everything worked before the changeover. Also during the swap over I removed the old alarm, but all the original wires are fine.
I am not sure if its something with the fuel injectors. Do I need new injectors and a new fuel rail w/ the change from a PM6 to a P28?

Hmmm. So is there anyway to tell what the MSD dizzy that I have now is for? I will have to look and see if my dizzy still has the plug on it, I hope it does. I also hope I will be able to run my wires from the new dizzy to the coil.
I guess if I need a new dizzy hopefully someone will trade a MSD dizzy for a stock OBD1 dizzy.
