i finally have the cash to go buy some pistons and rods, and i was wondering whats
the highest hp u can go on stock sleeves? and who makes pistons and rods that i could install without mod(bore,hone,exe.) thanks guys

ALL SLEEVES HAVE TO BE HONED FOR THE NEW RINGS TO SEAL PROPERLY.

300whp is pushing it.

 

how much does it cost normally for a shop to do that (hone)

 

ok ive read enough.. full race got 440. with a neptune program.. 350 is fine..but low cr pistons/rings and crower,paulter rodds are a must.. go to this site..read and drool..lol

bone stock engine except for the arps..ran 11.60s at englishtown NEPTUNE PROGRAM TUNE IS THE WAY TO GO..crome and gooberdata = boom..personal experience.. its all in the tunre man seriously..u can buy the most bombproof engine and blow it with a bad tune..my friend is running 31 pounds and a full built h22 stroker motor from laskey racing.. blew it and then after he rebuilt..he went with neptune.. what a difference..check out evans tuning as well.. his multi media will sell you for sure..
