no u can use the auto starter, axels, ecu
i did the swap about a year ago
the pedals are the hardest part

i already put everything in except the linkage, starter, clutch cable, and axels

i think if it is an ek, you need a manual starter, dont know about the egs

Well this isnt the EK/EG forum, its the EF.

You can use the auto axles, but I dont recommend using the Auto ECU. Spring for the manual, better fuel maps and not as low rev limiter, from what im told.

i figured that you can use the auto starter but i had to redrill the holes for it to fit and get a longer bolt for it to hold onto the engine. i dont have that bolt, but mine's holds fine with one.
