is it possible to bolt on a b16 head onto a d16 block?

um anything is possible, but this requires a bunch of work, and very expensive. might as well save that money and get your self the new SI.

Has it been done? Yes... i believe there was a thread on here a while back where someguy put a dohc head on a sohc block and got it to work--but with a little trouble.

Maybe the real question would be, "Is it worth it?" Probably not considering power gains vs cost vs reliability.

no, u can only do B head with other B series and D with other D series

no they are two diffrent series motors, a b16 has 2 cams whereas a d16 only have one
