b16 head/d16 block?
A friend of mine wants to put a b16 head on a d16 block. He has a d16z6 and wants to know if a b16a head will work? Anyone ever tried this?

well I've seen pictures of an h22 head on a f22 block, alot of rigged up bullshit but I figured id ask anyway.

F and H series are damn near the same blocks. H series parts fit on F series.
D series and B series arent the same like F and H.
D series and B series arent the same like F and H.

seriously, we talk bout this all the time.
NO it wont work.
On a side note tho, there was ONE twin cam D series motor, which was put on a 1.5L d series SOHC block. This did run, but it sucked, was unreliable, and....it sucked. but a B head on a D block will not work. search h-t for the word frankenstein, this will show common head swaps.

yeah, I was gonna do that to my accord, swap an h22a vtec head on my f22 block, and do alittle piston work....but then I fell in love with a sexy civic
