what distributor do u put for a d16y8 when u made the wirin obd1????/

I think most use a D16Z6 distributor, and modify the mounting points to fit the Y8 head. I'm pretty sure you could use a D15B7 distributor (OBD1 non-vtec) as it has the same mounting pattern as a D16A6 distributor which fits on the Y8 head. But I'm not sure if there is some reason more people don't do this.

That would be the D15B7 distributor I mentioned. I really don't see why it wouldn't work, plus is bolts on cleanly.

i hope so cuz am i about to buy one for 60 soo if dont work there two that i just lost cuz i bought the z6 one but i kinda forst it and it broke soo i only have this choose
