D15B7 block / D16Y8 Head OBD1 - dizzy?
I have a D16Y8 head / intake manifold for my D15B7 bottom end. In order to remain OBD1 can I can use the distributor from my D15B7? Is this the only change I need to make?
I searched and it *seemed* to indicate that all I need to do is swap in an OBD1 distributor from any other D series... but I want to be sure before I start hooking things up that the D15B7 distributor would work since it is non-VTEC and I am using a VTEC head.
Thanks in advance.
