Default Question about extended wheel lugs on a EG.

What do extended wheel lugs do? Why are they good and what is the advantage of having them?

Autocross regulations require you have open ended lugnuts and extended wheels stud makes it possible. For harsh driving conditions, ARPs and Skunk2s are much stronger than OEM, but when was the last time you snapped a wheel stud?

Extended studs allow adequate lug nut thread engagement when using thick wheel spacers.
