Is it ok to boost on 9.8:1 compression stock motor??

Is it ok to boost on 9.8:1 compression stock motor??
Its not a honda motor....
Max I can run is 7 psi right???

You can run as much as the motor will let you. Theres no limit. According to the info i found, y7 bottom end y8 top i was at 9.96:1 last year, and i boosted 15 psi. Just make sure everything is good, or get a good tuner to do it for you, no detonation.
