D-series turbo?!

Default D-series turbo?!

Can you put a D-series turbo kit in a B-series engine? or am I asking a stupid questions. lol im just curious if the setup, size, etc are the same? help?

I guess ultimatly a diff mani would affect how the wastegate bolts on, and the turbo itself. Might not change but is a possibilty.

Surely someone on HT has tried this before and can enlighten us.

you will definately need a new b series manifold, otherwise MOST of the rest of it should be fine... You might need to make a cut or 2 to make the charge pipes fit just right but its not that far off.

all i need is just the B-series manifold with the right fitment to the turbo, and some fabrication to the pipes? and everything is set? thanks!

icic and the flange what do i do with that? is it worth getting a d-series turbo kit and just swap manifolds? or just go with a b-series turbo kit.
