Default Universal O2 Sensor Wiring Help

I have a 98 Civic HX, MT. I'm getting hesitation and after reading several threads on this, I think it's a problem with my pre-cat O2 sensor. The MT HX uses a 5-wire O2 sensor which costs around $300 while universal O2 sensors can be had for around $60. The problem is the universal O2 sensors are 4-wires. Is there any way to connect a universal O2 sensor w/ 4 wires to the 5-wire original harness?

Thanks!

You need a 5 wire, just search around until you find one cheap. Ebay can usually get them for like 100 if you look well.

I found a few O2 sensors on eBay, but none of them were listed for the Civic HX. Will any 5-wire work for the HX?

Unfortunately my computer won't load ebay today (common problem), so I dunno. I would try to search for "honda wideband."

I forget the product number for the thing too, sorry,

Yeah, I've checked sparkplugs.com. Unfortunately, those are for sensors after the cat or they are for A/T. Those are all 4-wire sensors.

I don't have a scan tool or code to track it down. I've done all the tune-up stuff and from what I've read of people w/ the same problem, it's usually the O2 sensor. It's got over 100k miles on the original sensor so I figure it's about time to replace anyway.
