Default Tranny problems, need help/advice?

Very detailed so bear with me, thanks.

I was recently done doing my preppy D15B (Vtec) series swap with the SI tranny, (I put a Stage 1 Exedy clutch kit amd torqued everything to factory specs). Everything turned on, with only one code (16). Anywho little did i know my problem was about to begin. I was about to shift into R to take it out for a quick spin, see how everything worked. But as soon as i pressed the clutch i heard a "clink". So i figured it was the spring the poped off the bearing, then I felt the car shake a bit. while that happened i heard some small scratching noise not too big, but noticeble. So the problem is my bearing popped and i think the clutch cover scrapped the tranny case inside. I took the tranny out and whaala!

So what do you guys recommend should i just replace it with a stock oem CRX 1991 clutch disc and cover? or could of been the flywheel needed to be replace, all i did was resurfaced the fly wheel too? Im not sure what could of caused the problem...thanks again fellas.

something is not straight there. Why is it only hitting in that small spot on the pressure plate? Makes my think either the whole flywheel or pp is either bent on not put on flush. Spin it by hand and see if everything is straight. Are you torqueing the pp and flywheel bolts in a cris cross pattern as stated in your manual?

i agree - maybe one of the dowel pins is not thru the hole in the pressure plate

^^^ i agree as well. i did a clutch on a 82 celica, and it was my first one. did not have any grinding or problems at all when i got done. did you use the alignment tool that came with the clutch kit.. (or at least SHOULD have come with the clutch kit....

yea i doubled checked everything and looks like the pressure plate was warped for the bolt holes, dont know why. I think it was a faulty pressure plate good thing I contacted the Seller and will replace it at no cost!.sweet!.

Yea i made sure and double checked everything too. X patter on everything torqued them to factory spec like in the book and helms manual too. Since it was a new clutch i thought there wouldnt be any problem, but lesson learned is check your items for any defective part. I will take some more pics of the warped plate later today thanks.
