Ran my car at the track tonight and i'm not really impressed with my track times..
Mods:
OBD1 jdm gsr
skunk 2 IM
b16 tranny
act xtss clutch kit
chipped p28
short ram
stock exhaust manifold
apexi n1 catback
..falken azeniz at 20lbs
-----
Reaction: .252
I1: (60 ft) 2.294
E.T. 9.31
mph: 76.7
I also made a couple other 9.3 second passes
Should i be able to pull 2.1 60 fts with azeniz, also if i could pull 2.1's how much more would that increase my time?
A 9.3 in the 1/8 mile is equivillent to ___ in the 1/4 mile?
Also i'm launching around 3500-4000 rpms, any betters ideas, tips??
I'd like to pull 9 flats

i ran similar times on my old set up....
on a 9.3 1/8th...your looking roughly at a 14.3~ time on the quarter mile.
However, for the car and motor you have, your mph seem a tad bit low.
oddly though, With a slower 60ft by .1, I ran a 9.1 1/8th....go figure
if your gona run a true street tire like azenis, deflate em, heat em and roll that launch...
if not, get some DR or slicks...you'll love em

in my opinion, the Azenis is a great overall road tire...but the stiff side wall was just not made for off the line/straight traction. Get some cheap-o 14 inch wheels (steelies/hx wheels) and slap on some bfg's
well worth the money

Times seem fine though. Nothing out of place. Should be good for a 14.3 like was already stated.

So i need to drop my tire pressure lower than 20lbs and launch around 5000 - 6000 rpms?
thanks for your help guys..
I tried to put some 13 inch slicks on while i was at the track, but they wouldn't clear my rotor's so

i would play around with 15-17 psi of tire pressure on the azenis...and try to heat them up as much as possible. Playing with launch rpm will be important as well.
Try different psi and launch combos....5000-5500 sounds good to me
