Default Can someone clear this up for me? (cluch master cylinder)

sorry for using omni power pic.



i want know about this claer.
i've been reading about adjusting cluch. and i just fot new OEM master cylinder. people said order to adjust enguage point. turn the shaft. but i was turning the whole thing A part i circled, but it didnt get any shorter or longer. so its not the shaft are getting shorter or longer. its the C part that moves by that has nut on B right??

short: MC shaft doesnt get shorter or longer by turning it. what moves is the part A right?

Well adjusting the clutch is done by adjusting the cable on a cable tranny, and im pretty sure you can't adjust a hydro tranny, the clutch is self tensioning I believe.


what car are you doing this on.

Yeah im pretty sure you can't adjust that. The clutch is probably dunzo.
