I screwed up! Putting back tranny... slave cylinder
Ok, so I finally got the tranny in my Civic Vx. I put the pin back in the extension rod (remember the "bitch piin"? That rod). So I go in to see if I can shift through the gears.
I push the clutch in and it goes all the way to the floor! Shoot! I'm not suppose to touch the clutch pedal until I attach the slave cylinder to the tranny. I go to the engine compartment, push the shaft all the way back into the clutch cylinder, and attach it.
I go back into the car and the clutch has very little resistance.
Did I screw up anything??! If I did, what needs to be done?
Thanks,
Gary

That's good to hear. If the shaft goes out of the cylinder, wouldn't I have destroyed the seal since the shaft has never gone that far? It'll tear up the seal right?

Yeah, you just let air into the lines.

It shouldn't tear up that seal - I've never seen that happen, anyways. I mean use ur eyes - attach the slave cylinder and see if it leaks when you clutch.
Though bleed it and it'll feel fine again.
