how is the HF turbo manifold for D16Z6 turbo?

Default how is the HF turbo manifold for D16Z6 turbo?

like the title says.
we want to build another turbo project and we want to use this HF manifold

is it good manifold? any one use that before???

dont want a big setup just somthing nice for my boy
daily drive

its not gunna work with a/c, i dont think a single person has had it work with a/c sorry man

this is a tried and true option, you can get a plate for $50 (check here, hmt) to make it a bolt on affair, or else you can make a plate if you have the equipment. if you have a welder, you can get a log mani kit for $100 or buy the flange and bends separate for even less. depends on what you want and your budget. i think the adapter plates are well worth the money. use factory gaskets also, add an oil line setup and you're getting pretty close. good luck

Ya, it definately works well. I had a ported one on my turbo y8. The stock header heat shield actually bolted up to it, it looked nice.

A 4-1 equal manifold is supperior in power all the way up to 400whp. Port it out with a hand tool or whatever to increase spool up some and you have yourself a nice street manifold. Not to mention at the fraction of a "high performance" manifold.
