This my first time ever to have, even drive or have in depth detail knowledge of a turbo kit, I have a built LS/VTEC B18B/B16A that can support 14lbs, could i get any named brand turbo kit that specifically says "B-series Turbo kit", i assume that means it will fit onto any b-series motor. Or do i have to piece together a custom turbo kit?!? help, i need to go boooost!!!

 

Yes, buy a b series turbo kit. It should fit fine, maybe a lil modificaitons needed. I don't have a turbo yet but I plan on putting together my own kit. Maybe someone can prove otherwise?

But I don't know which kit is able to produce 14lbs of boost. You might wanna snoop around a little bit more....

not a turbo kit that produces 14lbs im saying my engine is capable of supporting up to 14lbs, correction, sorry. What brand is good, reliable and affordable, other then a slightly used turbo kit.

 

turbo kits are very good however the biggest advantage to piecing your own together is that you get exactly what you want. however most kits come with the little things which is very helpful if you dont know what you need. you shouldnt rush into it, read into what is needed and about the parts and you might get a better idea of which route you wish to go.

t3/t4 50 trim or 57 trim should be fine for those goals. I would def. read up on the topic of force induction before jumping into this too like previously stated. Just sit on Honda-tech for hours at a time reading and looking at other peoples set ups. That will def. help you when you go to turbo yours. Good Luck

 

T3/T04E 60trim .63AR i think, is what my builder told me that my engine was built to run good with, what difference is it from the 50 or 57 trim?
